PVA Conversations: Berlin Edition

Paper Visual Art (PVA) hosts an afternoon of events including conversations, artist talks, readings, and the launch of Paper Visual Art Journal, vol. 16 – the Berlin Edition. This event is the first in a new series of PVA Conversations.

The schedule will include a conversation between PVA editor Adrian Duncan and writer Marcel Krueger on the Humboldt Forum; a discussion between photographer Daniel Seiffert and PVA 16 guest editor, Sabrina Mandanici; an artists’ panel featuring Berlin-based Irish artists Doireann O’Malley, Andy Fitz, and Mark Curran, chaired by Rory Rowan; and the launch of PVA 16. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

Following this, there will be two readings in the nearby Arnimplatz, by Rebecca O’Dwyer and Adrian Duncan. Please dress warmly as this part of the event will be outdoors! Please note that Arnimplatz is a 10-minute walk from the Kino Krokodil. If any attendees require mobility assistance, please inform the event organisers (PVA) via the Eventbrite link.

Established in 2009, Paper Visual Art (PVA) publishes  journals, books and online texts that focus on visual art, contemporary culture and literature. PVA Books, since 2015, is the art and literary imprint.

PVA 16 – The Berlin Edition is edited by Adrian Duncan, Niamh Dunphy, Sabrina Mandanici, and Nathan O’Donnell, with editorial assistance from Jack Delaney.
