Die Ausstellung hat ihren Namen von seiner Serie kleiner Skulpturen aus dem Jahr 1974, die aus Kerrygold-Butter zwischen zwei Bord na M\u00f3na-Torfbriketts bestanden.<\/p>\n<p>Die Ausstellung, an der sowohl in Irland als auch in Deutschland lebende K\u00fcnstler*innen beteiligt sind, vertieft die Themen Landschaft, \u00d6kologie, Schamanismus, Magie und die sozio-politische Handlungsf\u00e4higkeit des B\u00fcrgers, die f\u00fcr Beuys&#8217; Praxis von zentraler Bedeutung waren und die f\u00fcr eine j\u00fcngere Generation irischer K\u00fcnstler immer noch aktuell sind. In der Ausstellung untersuchen einige K\u00fcnstler das Thema der nat\u00fcrlichen Umwelt, die Pr\u00e4senz des Menschen in und auf der Landschaft und das Erbe ihrer Auswirkungen. An anderer Stelle wird Beuys&#8217; Interesse an transzendentalen Formen des Handelns und der Spiritualit\u00e4t fortgesetzt, sei es durch die performative Figur des Schamanen\/Volksheilers, durch Rituale oder soziopolitische Aktionen. Beuys&#8217; Besuch in Sandycove&#8217;s Forty Foot, einer Badestelle, die in James Joyces <em>Ulysses<\/em> zitiert wird, wird in der Ausstellung direkt erw\u00e4hnt.<\/p>\n<p>Unter Verwendung des Rahmens von Beuys zeigt Irish Energy eine Auswahl von irischen K\u00fcnstler*innen, die aus einer spezifischen k\u00fcnstlerischen Polykultur hervorgegangen sind, in der sich verschiedene Themen \u00fcberschneiden, voneinander entlehnt sind und nebeneinander existieren.
