For the past 22 years, Other Voices has brought musicians and artists from across the world to Dingle, West Kerry, to raise their voices to sing. Since the very first intimate gathering in 2001 to the present-day weekend long festival of music, song and storytelling across more than 20 venues, Other Voices is now an established fixture in the Irish music calendar; a ‘must attend’ event for performers and audiences alike.
Other Voices is also an international music TV series, a festival, and a tourism event in its own right, that celebrates the local on a global scale: it has travelled from its home base in West Kerry to Austin, London, Belfast, New York, Cardigan (North Wales) and Berlin, creating partnerships and relationships that endure, grow and flourish.
Founded by Philip King, a musician, filmmaker, and broadcaster, Other Voices has featured notable artists such as Paolo Nutini, The National, Arlo Parks, Hozier, Ellie Goulding and many more.
