The Berlin-based Dublin native, known for her versatile style spanning soul, jazz, rhythm & blues and opera, embarks on an album tour of intimate venues across Germany. Accompanied by Berlin-based musicians, she will perform stripped-back arrangements of tracks from her debut album ‘January Skies’, which include Jazz FM UK’s ‘Breakfast Track of the Week’ ‘My Mama Told Me’ and songs from her EP Melodramas. She will also present some classics that have influenced her own writing and new, soon-to-be-recorded original material. Drawing inspiration from 60s\/70s songwriting and 90s trip-hop, the album, co-written with Australian film composer Michael Edwards (Morcheeba, Moloko, Game of Thrones soundtrack), explores themes of purpose, patriarchy, rites of passage, lost faith, fate, missed opportunities, and fantasy versus reality.<\/p>\n
