Meant to Fade<\/em> is a curated group exhibition featuring artworks that celebrate ephemerality, transformation, and the temporalities of non-toxic, natural, and living materials. The works push against long-standing norms of artistic display and function, challenging the notion of creations outliving their creators. In a world finally coming to terms with the damaging environmental impacts of certain materials and methods, artists featured in Meant to Fade<\/em> have embraced impermanence and decay.<\/p>\n

This exhibition will include the work of Ireland-based artists Christine Mackey, Dearbhla Ryan, Joanna Hopkins, and Christine Prescott and German artists Naomi Liesenfeld, Julia Rabusai and Lucila Pacheco Dehne, working with alternative photographic processes, repurposed textiles, plant-based inks, and sculptural arrangements of the found and foraged.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
