An exhibition of site-specific contemporary and experimental drawing, Atmospheres is produced by the Irish artists’ collective, Drawing deCentered. Three artists – Mary-Ruth Walsh, Felicity Clear and Kiera O’Toole – will tour two new iterations of this exhibition, Atmospheres II and III, to DAS ESSZIMMER Gallery in Bonn and FRISE Gallery in Hamburg in 2024-2025.
Through diverse and expanded fields of drawing practices, Drawing deCentered explores cities through a multi-perspective lens where the concept of atmospheres is considered as ‘Condition’, ‘Matter’ and ‘Affect’.More information
Drawing deCentered (DdC) is a geographically diverse group of artists that work from the peripheries – a nomadic, agile, curious and experimental group. It is an artistic platform that provides an online and onsite space for the exploration of contemporary drawing practice. A cornerstone of the success of Drawing deCentered is its collaboration with national and international practitioners, researchers and educators, building relationships with partners, host venues and key stakeholders.
