Seven-time All-Ireland champion on harp and banjo, Mayo-born Lisa Canny began her career touring the US, Canada, Russia and Europe extensively as lead singer and music with groups Celtic Crossroads and The Young Irelanders. Discovered by Miles Copeland (The Police, CIA Records) at a gig in LA, Lisa was soon after invited to ASCAPs Annual Songwriters Retreat and introduced to Jodi Marr, who offered her a first publishing deal with AbFab Artists.
The evening will be opened by the magnificent musical globetrotter Jamie McGeechan and the great voices of The Lee 3 from the very popular formation Emerald on Ivory.
