Dán is a multidisciplinary live performance that weaves together various artistic mediums to celebrate and respond to the work of contemporary Irish female poets. This production seamlessly combines the expressive power of dance, voice, acting, and original electronic sound composition, delivering an intimate and unforgettable experience.
Drawing inspiration from the rich tradition of Irish poets such as Eavan Boland and Alice Kinsella, and their respective experiences within the vibrant German artistic scene, these contemporary artists bridge cultural and generational gaps. Dán seamlessly melds the past with the present and the local with the global through the unique lens of contemporary Irish female literary voices. It’s a performance that transcends borders and time, inviting international audiences to embark on a journey through the poetic landscape of Ireland.More information
