BRITTA RETTBERG gallery is planning a group exhibition with eight Irish artists for six weeks starting in November 2024. This includes seven guest artists as well as gallery artist Laura Ní Fhlaibhín. The group exhibition brings together a dynamic group of established and emerging Irish artists. Their diverse practices share a common emphasis on exploring materiality through various approaches and processes. As a group, these artists represent complex, layered and lively representations of material practices from Ireland today.
The show will incorporate material renderings within the digital world, excavations and mythologies of material concerns within sculptural and painterly practice, within internal worlds and outward transformations.More information
